PUNARBASA, an institutional rehabilitation organisation working towards therapy services, rights awareness, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Kendrapara district, provided sports incentive support to national-level para-athlete Sudhir Malik. The financial assistance was extended to support his participation fee for the 1st BOSIA National Federation Cup, scheduled to be held in Goa in October 2025. District Social Security Officer Sangram Keshari Behera handed over the cheque to the para-athlete.

Sudhir Malik, a resident of Srirampur village under Pattamundai, became disabled following an accident while working as a Marketing Officer for a company in Hyderabad. Despite the setback, he continued his passion for para sports and participated in the BOCCIA sport last year, where he achieved notable success.
